Project Description

San Miguel de Allende Condominium

My client is a modernist. So, I modestly furnished his condominium with comfortable, modern seating, instead of Mexican style furnishings, typically used in this colonial city. Splashes of color enliven the space. The painting of Venice reminds him of Italy, his favorite country to visit.

The dining area is small and could be crowded with a rectangular table seating 4 guests. So, an all glass dining table gives the impression of the space being larger than it is. The Phillipe Stark dining chairs become an artistic focal point, letting the table disappear.

This master bedroom didn’t have enough closet space. I designed these bedside cabinets to hold more of the client’s clothes. One photo shows the pull out shelves extended, which provide bedside table space. The painting of Santorini reflects his desire to visit this Greek island.
